Find out more about the trade port
The port of Port-Vendres, a symbol of the town’s glory and development since antiquity, is an intense commercial exchange area. Did you know that we are the 2nd Mediterranean fruit port with 5000 tonnes unloaded every week? In addition, the multi-modal connections from the port allow for a considerable choice of transport for distribution.
Performing and secure infrastructures
Today, we have:
- 4 berths, 2 of which are equipped with ramps for roll-on/roll-off vessels and ferries.
1 new dock under construction (operational in 2025) for vessels 170m long with an 8.5m draught.
Naturally, the port complies with the ISPS international safety obligations. Finally, to contribute to reducing the environmental impact, we produce 130MWh of solar electricity per year.
